I still have a cypress tree with a star from there, a final essay —a night sky, with a moon without glare, just the thin crescent emerging from the opaque shadow projected by the earth—, a star with exaggerated brightness, if you like, soft glow of pink and green in the ultramarine sky where the clouds run.

At the bottom, a path lined with tall yellow reeds, behind which are the blue Lower Alps, an old lodge with orange-lit windows and a very tall, very straight, very shady cypress.
